BIRDS SA welcomes applications from Postgraduate or Honours Students or indivuduals for grants of up to $3000 towards their original research activities into matters that meet the objectives of the Birds SA Conservation Fund.

• RESEARCH ON THE CONSERVATION OF SOUTH AUSTRALIAN BIRDS.
• RESEARCH INTO THE ECOLOGY OF BIRDS IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA.

The research can be either fieldwork or laboratory work in South Australia. The Research grants should be completed within a 12-month period. At the conclusion of the work a written report of 2,000 words is required as well as a short presentation to a monthly meeting of BIRDS SA on the findings of the research.
