The South Australian Ornithologist has been published since 1914 and aims to present new information about the birds of South Australia. It is usually published twice a year and is supplied to all members and subscribers.

Journal only subscriptions for 2012 are A$35.00 (Australian and Overseas subscribers).

Journal contributors need not be SAOA members, but manuscripts are accepted as being offered only to this journal and should be concise, original and consider previous relevant literature.   Please refer to the Advice to Contributors for more information.
